Our Mobile Mental Health Clinics bring comprehensive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive mental health care directly into neighborhoods, schools, and community spaces, all with no appointments, no barriers. Our approach is centered on mobilizing mental health providers and graduate-level interns to actively respond to the evolving needs of community care. We bridge providers to the public in real time to deliver free, accessible mental health resources, screening tools, services, and advocacy—ensuring that help is available to children, youth, families, adults, and Elders alike.

We are committed to reimagining the service delivery of mental health care by providing real-time triage of mental health concerns, empowering individuals with immediate support and guidance. Our innovative model breaks down traditional barriers to access, making mental health care more responsive, flexible, and inclusive. 

Mobile Mental Health Clinics Services 

Mobile Mental Health Clinics now offer over 25 rotating walk-up services, which may include:

  • Mini confidential intake sessions, cross-care coordination services, and mental health triage

  • Suicide risk, mental health, and substance use screeners and counselor sessions are available

  • Walk-up counseling and brief interventions

  • Co-regulation strategies and 90-second coping skills

  • Brainspotting and HeartMath sessions

  • Emotional Freedom Tapping sessions

  • Art therapy activities and self-expression tools

  • Occupational therapy inventories and mini-evaluations

  • Survivor advocacy, including help with safety planning, the Safe at Home program, restraining orders, report filing, and referrals to legal services

  • Wellness & Somatic services

  • Reiki (individual & group)

  • HeartMath® sessions (individual & group)

  • Sound Baths (group)

  • Guided Meditation sessions

  • Body movement & regulation centered sessions

Bring Healing Where It’s Needed Most

When you host a HIR Wellness Institute Mobile Mental Health Clinic, you help bring urgent, trauma-informed mental health care directly into neighborhoods, schools, and community gatherings.

Each mobile clinic provides free walk-up care, suicide risk assessments, mental health screenings, counseling sessions, advocacy and triage support, healing sessions, and consultation services—all delivered by licensed providers, trained clinical interns, and culturally grounded healers. Participants have the opportunity to learn over 20 transferable coping skills to provide immediate relief and regulation.

Mobile Mental Health Clinic fees follow an equity- and value-based model designed to ensure communities of all sizes can access current, evidence-based, and practice-informed approaches to healing, trauma-responsive care, mental health, and wellness.

 

Every engagement directly supports survivors: 100% of proceeds from Mobile Mental Health Clinics fund HIR Wellness Institutes' free comprehensive wrap-around mental health, wellness, and advocacy services for individuals and families impacted by violence.
