Therapy Services Designed for Survivors
Restorative Healing Groups
At HIR Wellness Institute, our Restorative Healing Groups are designed to support survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, and other forms of harm in reclaiming their sense of safety, voice, and power. These sessions offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where survivors can begin to repair the wounds of violence, rebuild trust, and restore balance in their lives.

The Power of Repair
From Harm to Healing
Grounded in restorative justice and healing-centered care, our approach places connection at the heart of recovery. We focus on healing, nurturing accountability, repair, trust building, and restored relationships. Survivors are supported in learning strategies that strengthen emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and relational healing, while exploring pathways toward justice, empowerment, and community well-being. Each group weaves together neuroscience-informed practices, culturally responsive care, and Indigenous healing traditions, creating a supportive space where participants can process trauma, reclaim voice, and rebuild trust.
Through shared learning, storytelling, and guided reflection, participants cultivate restorative skills such as:
-
Self and community accountability
-
Empathy and active listening
-
Boundaries and consent awareness
-
Conflict transformation and repair
-
Restorative communication and trust building
-
Culturally rooted healing practices
