Partner With Us
Join our growing movement to reach survivors of violence everywhere, ensuring the care they need is there.
All HIR Wellness Institute services are provided at no cost to survivors of violence. By decoupling from traditional insurance-based models, we can offer comprehensive mental health care, advocacy, and healing services guided by survivors' needs rather than system limitations.
Join us in our vision of a future where every survivor can access the care they need, when and where they need it.
When you partner with HIR Wellness Institute—whether through Mobile Mental Health Clinics, H&H Retreats, training, consultation, speaking engagements, or other professional services—you are investing directly in survivor care. Your support helps us extend mental health services, advocacy, outreach, and healing opportunities to survivors, families, schools, and communities that might otherwise go without care.

Helpers & Healers™ Retreats
Transformative retreats that restore, reconnect, and strengthen helpers and healers.
Helpers & Healers™ was founded in 2020 in response to the growing impact of vicarious trauma, secondary traumatic stress, moral injury, compassion fatigue, and burnout experienced by professionals serving survivors of violence. What began as a wellness initiative for helping professionals has evolved into a healing-centered community that supports survivors serving survivors, caregivers, advocates, clinicians, educators, first responders, community leaders, and others seeking a space to heal, reflect, and reconnect.
Grounded in the belief that healing is relational, Helpers & Healers™ retreats create opportunities for participants to step away from the demands of service and intentionally invest in their own well-being. Through a blend of evidence-informed practices, therapeutic experiences, cultural connection, reflection, and community-building, participants are supported in restoring balance, strengthening resilience, and reconnecting with their purpose.
Retreat experiences may include:
-
Stress Reduction and Nervous System Regulation
-
Somatic and Mind-Body Healing Practices
-
Art Therapy and Creative Expression
-
Movement and Occupational Therapy Activities
-
Sound Healing and Guided Relaxation
-
Reflective Practice and Professional Renewal
-
Community Building and Peer Connection
-
Wellness Planning and Sustainable Self-Care Strategies
-
Cultural and Traditional Healing Practices
-
Grief, Loss, moral injury, and Resilience-Focused Experiences
Whether attending as an individual, team, organization, or community group, Helpers & Healers™ retreats provide a therapeutic and healing-informed environment where participants are invited to slow down, be cared for, and remember that those who dedicate their lives to helping others deserve spaces for healing, too.
Today, Helpers & Healers™ continues to serve those carrying the weight of caring for others while creating pathways for restoration, connection, joy, and collective healing.
Because healing was never meant to happen in isolation.
Helpers & Healers™ retreats can be hosted at your location or onsite at HIR Wellness Institute and are offered as half-day or full-day retreats.

Whether delivered as a keynote, half-day workshop, full-day training, or multi-day learning experience, our presentations are interactive, engaging, and designed to inspire meaningful change.
Participants leave with increased knowledge, practical skills, renewed purpose, and a deeper understanding of how healing happens through relationships, community, culture, and connection.
Training Availability
Due to the clinical, community, and leadership responsibilities of our team, training and keynote engagements are often booked several months in advance. We encourage organizations to inquire early to secure preferred dates.
A limited number of two-day and multi-day intensive training experiences are available each year. These deeper learning opportunities allow participants to engage more fully with implementation strategies, workforce development, systems transformation, and organizational culture change.
Supporting Community Healing
As a nonprofit organization, all proceeds generated through trainings, workshops, and keynote presentations are reinvested directly into HIR Wellness Institute's mission of providing free, accessible, culturally responsive mental health, wellness, and victim advocacy services to Indigenous and underserved survivors of violence.
By partnering with HIR Wellness Institute, your organization is not only investing in professional development but also helping expand access to life-changing care for individuals, families, and communities who need it most.
