Lloyd saw a need in his community and wanted to pursue a career that served the community. Lloyd was originally connected to HIR Wellness Institute as a parent, but was later given the role of CAM™ Elder Health & Wellness Coordinator. In his role, Lloyd supports our elders in the YES (Youth & Elders in Service) Program, offering guidance and coordination. Lloyd also shares his storytelling skills as the Game Master during our Story Menders program, where our youth role-play tabletop games while learning about themselves.

Lloyd identifies as a biracial man; Oneida Nation of WI and Puerto Rican. Lloyd is also a survivor of Child Abuse and other trauma. Lloyd received his associate's in business management from Cardinal Stritch University. He later attended MATC for Carpentry. Seeing the environment HIR Wellness has created for his and other's kids motivates Lloyd to continue serving others. The feeling of seeing his kids thrive as a parent pushes him to bring love and healing to others in the community.

Lloyd believes the CAMCFramework™ sets itself apart because it feels like a family and approaches healing with the mentality of "it takes a village". Other therapeutic practices have a large disconnect and almost “cold, arms-length” treatment. What is being taught has allowed my children to grow and blossom in ways I only hoped for them as a parent, and a large part of that is because of the CAM™ Framework and active participation in the things they've learned during their time in groups at HIRWI that have been reinforced at home.
