Alison is a Wisconsin native, hopeful for the future of mental health. She attained her Bachelor’s in Anthropology from Minnesota State University – Mankato and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mount Mary University. Alison has served at several Milwaukee area nonprofits including the Boys and Girls Club of Wisconsin as a college and career coach, PEARLS for Teen Girls as a wellness workshop facilitator, CORE El Centro as a yoga provider, and Future Urban Leaders as a mindfulness and movement instructor. Her certifications include Reiki (Level II), Experienced Integrative Yoga Therapy teacher (200-EYT), Mindful Yin Yoga (50 hour), Nonprofit Leadership and Grant Writing, Community Activated Medicine™ (CAM™) MasterClass participant, and will soon become a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP). Alison continues to pursue her path as an integrative medicine while serving as a Fund Development Coordinator. Her environmental attunement from years of working in therapeutic spaces ensures HIR Wellness stays clean, welcoming, and calming place that benefits all.
